Every fall, the AP Program recognizes high school students who have demonstrated outstanding college-level achievement through their performance on multiple AP Exams.
The AP Scholar with Distinction Award is granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.50 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.
Presented annually at the FAMAT State Convention, this recognition honors the top 12 overall students in each competitive division (such as Theta, Alpha, Mu, and Statistics) out of ~500 competitors. Rather than highlighting success at a single event, it is designed to reward mathletes who demonstrate sustained, prominent, and highly consistent performance across the entire regional and statewide competition season.

Earned a spot as one of only 441 students nationwide to qualify for the 2026 USA Physics Olympiad. Selection was based on a top score (16+/25) on the highly competitive F=ma exam, a national physics screening test administered by the American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT). This placement represents the top 6% of approximately 6,700 of the highest-achieving physics students in the country.
Selected as the single representative of your school to receive a prestigious national honor recognizing both outstanding academic excellence and a deep commitment to community service
Earned the privilege of competing at the prestigious National Speech & Debate Tournament, widely recognized as the largest academic competition in the world. To secure this title, I placed at the top of a highly competitive regional District Tournament among hundreds of local competitors. This honor recognizes the top few percent of speech and debate students nationwide, reflecting months of advanced research, rhetorical skill, and competitive excellence.
USA Computing Olympiad (USACO) Gold Division | 2026
Successfully advanced to the third tier of the national computing pipeline USACO. Out of roughly 12,000 monthly participants, I secured a spot in the exclusive Gold tier, which filters down to just ~900–1,200 pre-college students worldwide per contest. This achievement recognizes proficiency in university-level algorithmic programming and time-complexity optimization.
